Team Security Settings Overview
Security Settings allow you to customize your team's security settings and visual display. Coaches and Administrators can turn on or off specific settings or actions for specific user roles. By default, only Administrators and Coaches have full functionality. If you want other types of users to have access to certain abilities, follow the steps below to see how you can customize your team's security.
Default Security Settings
Below is a table illustrating the default actions for each user role when a WatchGameFilm team is first created. By default, only Administrators and Coaches have full functionality.

If you want certain user roles to have access to specific actions, follow the steps below to customize your team's security.
Customizing Team Security
- Go to Settings > Security in the main menu
- Edit the desired fields by double clicking the field and selecting either Yes or No from the drop-down
- Your changes will be automatically saved and will be enforced the next time your users log in
Each cell in the list shows you the status of a user role (column) for a given action or function (row). Keep in mind there are almost 3 dozen settings, so if you do not initially see the action you wish to edit, make sure to check additional grid pages.
If you want to quickly know what actions a role can do now (such as Athlete), simply click the Filter icon in the Athlete column and select Yes. All actions that the Athlete is allowed to do will appear.
Reset Default Security
To reset the security to our default settings, the same as when you first created your team, click the Reset Settings button on the grid toolbar. It is the first button on the toolbar. We will confirm that you want your settings reset. Once you have confirmed, WatchGameFilm will reset your security settings to the default layout shown above.
